TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs A M Waller, Weston Lodge, 16 Grove End Road, N.W.
Date30 September 1889
DescriptionRix explains that the blocks are never allowed out on loan, but that Dr Waller may, by leave of the Royal Society Council, have clichés of the blocks at his own expense. The cost of the clichés is noted as between one shilling and six pence and two shillings each. Rix would be willing to anticipate the leave of the Council, as the Society is currently in vacation, and upon the authorisation of Dr Waller will order two clichés from Harrison & Son, with the blocks and bill to be sent to an address provided by Waller.
