TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Michael Foster
Date5 March 1889
DescriptionThe report of the Committee on David James Hamilton's Government Grant was not printed last time as it was too late, and Rix asks if it is to be printed this time.

Rix also proposes that rather than having the full application repeated when referred to two different committees as before, that under the new system, with the number of applications going to several boards likely to be large, that they instead give the name, number and amount with reference to the page of the full application.

He also encloses two copies of the new printed circular, one marked with suggestions, but notes he is content with neither, and wants Foster to mark his proposes changes and return them to go to press.

The letter is crossed through, and marked 'Govt Grant. See that letter Books'.
