TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date12 February 1889
DescriptionRix went to the Stationery Office to see the clerk who made the return given in their letter of 6 February, and notes that although they said it includes the copies sold through the Royal Society, this only includes occasional copies sent for to complete deficiences in their stock, and not the copies sold from their own portion of the stock. Rix has listed the numbers and states that they are 'both larger and more probable' than those given in the letter. The numbers include those sold to Fellows of the Society at a one third reduction, and to the trade at a one fourth reduction.

Rix encloses the Council minutes [ not included], which he asks to be returned.
