Description | Rix has to once again complain of an 'excessive charge', and refers to his letter of 26 March which requested more detailed accounts in the future.
The bill provided gave no details regarding time or materials, and is fifty percent more than it should be. Rix believes the total bill should be no more than seven shillings and two pence, allowing for a washer at three pence, the time as four hours at 10 pence an hour, business expenses and 100 percent profit. As the bill is 10 shillings and six pence Rix terms it 'unreasonable' and states that they will not use their firm again if they have to pay it. |
