TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Leonard Wyld, 54 Hamilton Terrace, St John's Wood
Date1 November 1889
DescriptionRix believes it may be convenient for Wyld to know that the names of those chosen by the Council of the Royal Society for the Royal Medals, to be submitted for Queen Victoria's approval, are Walter Holbrook Gaskell and Thomas Edward Thorpe. A postscript notes that they are both Fellows of the Society, but he believes that they do not generally add 'FRS' after the name on the medal, but leaves this to Wyld.
