TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Thomas Sterry Hunt, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 November 1889
DescriptionRix heard with regret of Hunt's illness, so is pleased that his health has improved. He is glad to know that the French translation of his 'Basis for Chemistry' is on its way, and they will inform him when it arrives. Hunt's wish that 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' be delivered to his London agent for the Fraser Institute has been noted, and the letter filed as authority to do this; but Rix states that he did not provide the name of his agent, and so asks that he brings a written order with him.

The Royal Society will send Hunt a copy of the list of Fellows when issued, which is unlikely to be far in advance of the end of the year.
