DescriptionAt the last meeting of Council, the recommendation of the Physics Sectional Committee regarding the appropriation of the Gunning Fund was adopted, namely that the interest accrued during the three years since the last award of the Gunning Fund be applied to an investigation into the measurement of Solar radiation to be conducted by Callendar in consultation with a Committee consisting of Mr Dyson, Mr Newall, Dr W N Shaw and Dr W Wilson, with Callendar as Chair. A cheque can be drawn whenever Callendar wishes.
