TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lord Kelvin [John William Strutt], Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 March 1905
DescriptionWith reference to Strutt's letter of 24 February, Harrison has referred to the certificate of Professor Biles, and finds that the printed copy of candidates certificates which was sent round to the Fellows shows an exact transcript of the original certificate. The fact that Kelvin's name stands first does not necessarily indicate that he was the principal promoter. Harrison has Mr Philip Watts down as the promoter of the certificate for this year. If Kelvin wishes to have the order of the names altered he will try and have that done before the certificate is re-printed for another election.
