The reports of the first and second referees are enclosed for the Chairman's information [not enclosed]. Asks for the Chairman's instructions as to how to proceed.

Encloses a letter from Dr James Scott, agreeing to the amendment suggested by Dr C J Martin to Scott's paper on 'The Influence of Cobra Venom on the Proteid Metabolism'. Asks if in view of this letter, Halliburton is willing to authorize the printing of Dr Scott's paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The corrections referred to could be made in the proof.
