| Description | Thanks Milne for his letter and the interesting type written observation accompanying it. These are just the sort of thing the Society are hoping Milne may be able to make out and he should go on with them. Wonders if Milne could send in for the Society a short paper on the subject of the New Zealand earthquakes and their observed effects at their antipodes. They have only one available meeting left this session on 8 June and if Milne could send in anything before that date they would find a place for it then. Even if Milne does no more than state the facts it would be important to have them distinctly and accurately recorded.
The Society has heard nothing yet from the Government in reference to the Society's letter on international seismological work. |
