TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to John Henry Poynting, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date12 July 1905
DescriptionPoynting's paper on the effect of temperature on weight is to hand. If it is intended for the new 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' it can go to press at once. But if, as the presence of an abstract suggests, it is intended to the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', it must go through referees. Hopes Poynting will decide the paper is for the 'Proceedings' both on account of its shortness and of the larger circulation.
