TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Arthur Schuster, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date29 July 1905
DescriptionThe documents of which the enclosed are copies [not enclosed] have arrived this morning and though Schuster has no doubt received his instructions from the Board of Education, Geikie thinks Schuster ought to see everything that has passed between the Government and Royal Society in the matter.

The great point in Schuster's dealings with the conference at Berlin is that the Frankfort agreement is to remain unmodified in any essential particular. The Society learns that France, Austria and Italy have declined to send delegates to Berlin, unless they have at the last moment changed their minds.
