DescriptionIn reply to the Messrs note asks them to place the £2,000 paid to the Messrs by the Treasury on account of the grant for scientific investigations to the credit of the Government Grant account. Thought the Messrs had a standing order always to do this. The Government Grant account is the account of the Government Grant to the Royal Society for scientific investigations, but must be distinguished from any other grants made by the Government to the Society.
