TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Joseph Larmor, [Secretary, Royal Society]
Date9 October 1905
DescriptionDoes not think he has reported to Larmor that he has done about Lowe''s paper on canals of Mars. Has consulted Collings as to the possibility of reproducing the photographs adequately, and he has taken one to experiment upon. In the meantime Larmor has written to Lowell telling him what the engraver said about them, and asking him to send, if possible, negatives or glass positives to work from.

Sir A Noble came in on Saturday and is quite content that his latest note containing an addendum to his explosives paper should appear in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'.

The Society is contemplating closing the volumes of both A and B 'Proceedings' with the next number.
