TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Augustus Tilden, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date18 October 1905
DescriptionAt the July Council Professor [Hugh Longbourne] Callendar was proposed for a Royal Medal by Professor Perry 'for his investigations in thermometry and other branches of the science of heat', but owing to the absence of Professor Perry in South Africa they have been unable to get in the usual statement of claims. As seconder of the motion Harrison asks if Tilden would supply the deficiency and send in a short statement in order that it may be put into type and circulated with the others. Should be glad of it at the earliest possible moment.
