| Description | It is proposed to recommend Evans' paper 'On the Infection, Histology, and Development of the Uredo Stage in certain Uredineae' for publication by the Royal Society; but subject to revision, and before proceeding with the printing of the paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', Harrison is directed to send the accompanying remarks of a referee with reference to Evans' paper [not enclosed], and to express the hope that Evans will see his way to amend his paper in light of the referee's criticisms.
