TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Albert Charles Lewis Gotthilf Gunther, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date30 October 1905
DescriptionAn application from Professor Haswell was before the Council last Thursday for a grant of £125 for dredging in the Tasman Sea. Harrison encloses Haswell's letter from which Gunther will see the matter is somewhat urgent [not enclosed]. Before coming to a decision on the matter the Council wish for Gunther's opinion as Chairman of the Zoology Board of the Government Grant, as to whether the application should be favorably entertained. Would be glad of Gunther's opinion before next Thursday, when the Council next meets.
