TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Miss Leslie
Date19 June 1905
DescriptionWith further reference to the Miniature Miss Leslie showed them, he has not been able ascertain anything further about it of a positive nature. Has not found himself justified in taking it out of the mounting. Has shown the miniature to several Fellows who are familiar with all the portraits of Humphry Davy, and they are unanimous in saying that it cannot possibly be a portrait of Davy. Thinks it best to return the miniature and suggests she offer it to the National Portrait Gallery, if she can afford them any better clue as to the original.
