TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Alcock
Date27 November 1905
DescriptionIn reply to Alcock's of the previous day and his request in conversation on Thursday, Harrison found on conferring with the Secretaries after the meeting that they had already promised 7 December to so many physicists, that Alcock's paper, if put down for that day, would come so late on the list that there would be very little chance of its being more than read in title. If for the sake of early reading Alcock is prepared to run that risk, the Secretaries are quite willing to include Alcock's paper on the list, but if not, queries if 14 December would do instead.
