DescriptionHarrison acknowledges Druery's letter to the President of the Royal Society, and requests more precise details of the assistance he wants granted to Benjamin Harrison by the Society. In case Druery is not aware, he informs him that an application was made in July 1899 on Harrison's behalf and the Scientific Committee granted a sum sufficient to purchase an annuity of £25, believing the First Lord of the Treasury had granted a pension of the same amount.
