DescriptionHarrison responds to Osler's letter to state that the next election of Fellows of the Royal Society is due to occur on 3 May 1906, but that prior to this the Society selects by ballot the 15 candidates, from the printed list, whom they recommend for election, and will announce their selection on 1 March at the ordinary meeting of the Society.

A copy of the candidate list was posted to Osler the previous day, but he encloses a cutting from it of Professor Macallam's certificate detailing the names of his proposers.
