TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Albert Charles Seward, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 March 1906
DescriptionHarrison seeks Seward's opinion on the printing of illustrations in his paper on Araucarieae. While the majority of figures can be printed as blocks in the letterpress, a few of the photographs showing 'fine structure' will require half-tone blocks which will not print satisfactorily on their paper. The preferable solution, outlined by Harrison, involves these blocks being printed as plates, and solutions to various difficulties, including the figures not being consecutive, being discussed. Seward's approval of the proposal is sought.

They have received one block from Mr Wilson, the view of the whole tree, but are awaiting figure 14, which is due from the University Press.
