TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Reverend [Frederick John] Jervis-Smith, Fellow of the Royal Society, Battramsley House, Lymington
Date11 June 1906
Description'Dear Mr Jervis Smith,
The President has sent on to me your letter to him of Saturday, about an invitation to the Soirée, with an authority to accede to your request. I accordingly enclose a card. I duly received your previous letter on the subject, but having as you probably know, no power myself to issue invitations, I was obliged to consult a higher authority before replying.
Believe me, very truly yours,
Robt [Robert] Harrison'.
