| Description | Is desired to enquire if the Colonial Office will be willing to undertake the printing of future reports on Sleeping Sickness. The first five reports were printed by the Royal Society, but it is felt the expense incurred makes a serious charge on the funds at the Society's disposal available for research. The sixth and last report was printed by the Stationary Office at the expense of the Foreign Office. It is proposed that in future the reports shall be issued in a somewhat larger size, uniform with the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' as this size is more convenient for the necessary illustration. In order that the Secretary of State may form a judgement regarding this proposal Geikie sends the manuscript of the next report by Dr Mott, and a copy of a number of the 'Proceedings' [no enclosures present]. |
