TitleCopy letter from A H White for Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Miss M P Fitzgerald
Date30 August 1906
DescriptionProfessor [William] Osler has written about the misplacement of matter in Fitzgerald's paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and the Society will see the printers about the matter. Apparently the trouble arose when making up the galley matter, a complicated business. Had they been able to foresee such trouble as has arisen they would have sent her proofs in pages. The paper is already published in 'Proceedings' B 523. They could print some sort of erratum slip calling attention to the misplacements. Hopes it may not prove so confusing to the reader as she may fear and wonders if she can recommend some form of erratum.
