DescriptionWith the aid of the grant received from the Goldsmith's Company, for the purpose of aiding research in connection with radium, a quantity of residues obtained from Austria is being reduced in Paris, and the Society are expecting the products soon. There is a small committee, of which Rutherford is a member, to advise the President [John William Strutt] on the administration of this grant. The President it consulting this committee as to the disposition of the products the Society hope to receive. Asks if Rutherford has any suggestions in the matter.
