TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Frederick Walker Mott, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 January 1907
DescriptionGeikie is sorry if there has been so serious a misunderstanding as he states. The Royal Society certainly understood his desire for 500 copies of his memoir. Hopes the copies can be made use of. In that case he will need 500 copies of the plates alone. Telephoning Bale about the matter. Mott was put into direct relations with Bale at the beginning, and Geikie is certainly in the belief that he had made his own arrangements with them. Asks him to call in to the building to discuss the matter.
