DescriptionThe paper by Dr F E Fritsch 'A General Consideration of the Aubaerial and Freshwater Algal Flora of Ceylon. A Contribution to the Study of Tropical Algal Ecology. Part I. Subaerial Algae and Algae of the Inland Freshwaters', was recommended by the Botany Committee for publication in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', subject to condensation on the lines suggested by the referees, and the omission of some of the the illustrations (especially Plate II). The Author has condensed it by about a half and removed Plate II. Asks if it should be passed on for printing.
