| Description | Their letter of yesterday was laid before President and Council and they are in full sympathy with the movement to obtain some reduction in the rate of postage of scientific publications, and are prepared to support an application to the Postmaster General with that object. As members of Council were already on the Committee which is taking action in the matter, no formal appointment to that Committee was made. |
