Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Joseph Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 5 February 1907 |
Description | Professor John Gray McKendrick has reported against printing Sir Thomas Wrightson's paper 'On the Impulse of Compound Sound Waves, etc' in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', and says it is more suitable for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Among other things, he says there is not much original in the physiological views, and the chief merit of the research is the invention of the apparatus for tracing the curves, but thinks the author should have the opportunity of setting forth his views. If so the full report will be sent. |
