TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 March 1907
DescriptionHarrison has been wrestling with the minutes of yesterday's Council meeting, and would like Lankester to look over the section concerning the subject which he brought forward at the end. The resolution is a faithful copy of the draft which was handed up to the Chair and read out. However, a slight variation on the original in which the language is taken from the final report of the Departmental Committee on the Royal College of Science, and it seemed to Sir Archibald Geikie, that this alternative might be better to send to the Board of Education, if Lankester and the sender agrees.
