TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to H J Read, [Colonial Office]
Date5 March 1907
DescriptionAsks if they have received from the British South Africa Company, towards the end of February, copies of letters of 31 December and 19 and 25 January, from the Administrators of North Eastern, Southern and South Western Rhodesia [Zambia and Zimbabwe], relating to Sleeping Sickness in those regions. Copies have been sent to the Royal Society, and they seem to contain important information, but before setting them up in type, Harrison would like to know whether Read has them and are printing them, and if so could they send copies. Also requests a large map of those regions to help trace the spread of the disease.
