Date20 March 1907
DescriptionSir Archibald Geikie handed Gill's letter asking for £350 out of the Government Grant Fund to meet urgent claims to go towards the £2000 which he is trying to raise for the purpose of extending the work of measuring the Great African Geodetic Arc, which is now in progress.
