DescriptionHarrison indicates that they may anticipate the permission of the Royal Society's Council to reprint Dr Fleming's paper 'On the conversion of electric oscillations into continuous currents by means of a vacuum tube', providing the author's consent has been obtained and due acknowledgement is given regarding the paper's source. He explains that he cannot loan the original blocks, in line with Society rules, but they can ask Messrs Harrison & Sons to prepare electros for use in reprinting the paper, to be prepared at Marconi's expense.
