TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date15 July 1907
DescriptionHarrison states that, providing Miss Benson is prepared to make the suggested changes to her paper on 'Miadesmia membranacea', the Chairman of the Botany Sectional Committee, in conjunction with one of the secretaries of the Royal Society, is prepared to authorise publication under Standing Order 43. He details the four suggestions that have been made, namely abbreviation by means of more concise description; a clear statement of the general organisation of the Miadesmia at the beginning of the paper and insertion of diagrammatic figures; reduction in number of illustrations; the addition of letters and pointers to some figures.

Harrison will send the manuscript to Benson, and asks that Scott communicate the recommendations outlined in this letter so she may make the necessary revisions.
