TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Under Secretary of State for India
Date15 April 1907
DescriptionHarrison explains that their request for publications of the Royal Society, hitherto supplied to Cooper's Hill College, to be forwarded to the India Office for transmission to India, would be viewed favourably were it not for the fact that this would duplicate others already made to various parts of India.

He asks if they are aware that the Society's publications, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society and Proceedings of the Royal Society, are already sent to Elphinstone College, Bombay; the Asiatic Society of Bengal; the Geological Museum and Indian Museum, Calcutta; the General Museum and Observatory, Madras [Chennai]. Furthermore, the Proceedings of the Royal Society alone are sent to the Government Observatory and Royal Asiatic Society at Bombay; the Trigonometrical Survey and the Meteorological Reporter, Calcutta; Roorkee College.
