TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to T Sheppard, President of the Hull Geological Society
Date28 August 1907
DescriptionAcknowledges Sheppard's letter of 23 August applying for a grant from the Government Publication grant towards the expense of preparing and illustrating a monograph of the Belemnites of the Speeton Clay which has recently been issued by the Hull Society. The application will be reported by the Secretaries to the Council at its next meeting but Harrison notes that no applications are considered except at the meetings of the Council held in January and July. Some time will therefore probably elapse before a decision as to an allotment is arrived at by the Council.
