DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of Shearer's letter from Murren of 26 August. The Society had received the proofs of the text and plates of Shearer's paper. The paper is passed and returned to the printers for press, while the plates are being dispatched to Frankfort. The Society are ordering 200 copies of the text, with 100 at Shearer's charge of approximately seven pounds, four shillings. The copies will be sent to the Zoological Station at Naples.
