| Description | Geikie explains that the President and Council of the Royal Society have considered the subject of Fitzmaurice's letter of 22 October (number 27603) on the proposed establishment of an International Bureau on Sleeping Sickness, and he informs Fitzmaurice that Professor John Rose Bradford, the Society's Foreign Secretary, has been appointed their representative on the Central Bureau to be established in London. The Society are willing to put one of their Committee rooms at the service of the Bureau, and lend the service of one of their staff to take the minutes of the meetings and issue notices. |
