Description | Harrison acknowledges Black's letter of 23 December enclosing a paper on "Oceanic Circulation", and explains that no paper can be received unless communicated by a Fellow of the Royal Society and so enquires if there might be a Fellow willing to communicate his paper. If so, Harrison will send it to the named Fellow so he may see it with a view to introducing it. Harrison suggests that Sir John Murray may be an appropriate person to whom he could submit the paper. |
