Description'Dear Sir,
With reference to your letter of the 25th instant, enclosing a note from Mr F H Neville, FRS, giving his consent to your use of the illustrations to the paper by himself and Mr Heycock, I have to say that the Council of the Royal Society have granted leave to you to reproduce the illustrations in question in your forthcoming book on 'Metallic Alloys', provided due acknowledgment is made of the source from which the figures are taken.'
