TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Wilson
Date17 June 1908
DescriptionHis letter of 15 and 16 June with the two packets of plates and map have duly come here. Regarding the map, the Royal Society shall send for the engraver, and have the matter pushed on at once. The proof of the small map has come from Stratford. Harrison is sending the proof and the original to Wilson today. Hopes he can return them within a week, containing his final corrections. There has been some misunderstanding about the position of the letterpress for the Panoramic Sketches, it should not come as a loose pamphlet on the portfolio. Finds it impossible to make any final revision of the book without the descriptive letterpress.
