Description'On the part of the Royal Society the President desires to express to the family of the later Professor Albert Gaudry sincere sympathy with them in the great loss which they have sustained by his death. As a foreign member of the Royal Society he was greatly respected for his high scientific distinction, and among those fellows of the Society who were privileged to know him personally he was warmly esteemed for the charm of his character.'
