TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Secretary, The Netherlands Legation
Date13 January 1909
Description'Dear Sir,
The Royal Society is favoured with the gift, from the Netherlands Foreign Officer (per your office) of the publication "Flora Batava". This is sent to us No. by No. as issued, but the address used is faulty. The numbers are addressed to Sir Michael Foster, Secretary of the Royal Society.
May I point out that Sir Michael Foster is dead and that packets bearing his name but intended for the Royal Society are liable to miscarry.
We should therefore be greatly obliged if you would give instructions that the "Flora Batava" should in future be addressed simply to The Librarian, Royal Society, Burlington House, London. I enclose the address as used, showing the correction desired.'
