TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie to [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook.
Date18 February 1909
Description'Dear Glazebrook,
I have no hesitation in saying that by far the best course for Chree to follow in the matter which you refer to me in your letter of yesterday will be to adopt the procedure A as named in his memorandum. We are anxious to complete the Antarctic publication as early as possible, and anything which is likely to retard them is to be avoided if possible.
If Chree has completed his examination of Birkeland's [trentise] before the Antarctic Magnetic Volume is printed off, he would have an opportunity of adding any note he might think sensible - otherwise his hands would be free to deal with Birkeland afterwards in my way he might choose.'
