TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Ashley Carus-Wilson, Coopers Hill, Staines
Date19 December 1890
DescriptionAs Carus-Wilson is aware, his paper was ordered to be printed in the octavo 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and it is now in hand. Rix wonders if Carus-Wilson considers the two photographic plates as essential to the illustration of the paper. If so he wonders if they might be reproduced on wood or supposing photographic reproduction is necessary whether the plates may be reduced to bring them to octavo form.
