TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Robert Sanderson McCormick, Secretary to the Legation of the United States of America
Date20 March 1890
DescriptionIn reply to McCormick's note of 18 March, Rix has not heard that Mr John William Mallet is in England and upon enquiry he does not think there is any reason to suppose Mallet is absent from the University of Virginia. The paper recently communicated by Mallet to the Royal Society was read by the Secretary which is the custom when the author is not present.
