TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Augustus Desire Waller
Date5 June 1890
DescriptionIn answer to Waller's note of yesterday, the crowded state of the room prevents the Royal Society Officers from offering to invite more than three friends besides Waller and his assistant. Rix thinks Mr James has written to explain that the room Waller used at the May Soirée is required for the important item of refreshments and they are anxious to know whether any other place could serve his purpose.
