TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt]
Date17 November 1890
DescriptionOn the 8 November the Royal Society sent Lord Rayleigh [John Wiliam Strutt] the two reports on Professor Victor Horsley's paper, so that he might mark the passages therein which ought to be copied and sent to the author. Horsley called at the Royal Society some days ago for the manuscript and Rix gave it to him. Dr [Michael] Foster had told Horsley in part what was wanted but Horsley wanted more precise details and would be glad of extracts from the reports and has sent a postcard today again asking for this. Rix asks Rayleigh to let them have the reports marked in the usual way.
