I received from you at the end of last week a copy of the Year Book of Scientific and Learned Societies which you supply on a standing order from here. Considering, however, that this Year Book, purporting to be published in October 1908 does not reach us until seven months later, and contains lists of Council and Officers of Societies which are now obsolete, the book is practically useless to us, and I should be much obliged if you would return it to the publishers and explain the reasons as above for doing so.' |
